Hello! My name is Sofia Rebelo, I am a graphic designer and a (soon to be) front-end developer, from Portugal.
Since the beginning of my career journey as a freelance designer, I felt I was lacking the skills that could bring me to the next level. My interest in programming, lead me to the amazing Front-end Foxes School where I am learning the basics of web development with JavaScript, HTML, CSS and GitHub.
I value simple content structure, beautiful layouts, intuitive and accessible design and enjoy bringing ideas to life in the browser.

My Terrarium - A project to learn about HTML, CSS, and DOM manipulation using JavaScript: a small drag and drop code-meditation. The terrarium created via CSS was inspired by Jakub Mandra's glass jar codepen. The artwork was hand drawn by Jen Looper using Procreate.

Typing Game - A game built using JavaScript, HTML and CSS skills. The game will present the player with a random quote (from Star Trek) and time how long the player takes to type it out accurately.
